Can Somebody Help Me?
I’ve attended Hofstra University for the last three years and have run into the common phrase “I want to get drunk” from all student levels ranging from freshman to senior. I don’t know if I should be ashamed to say this, but I don’t get it. Please tell me what is so cute about going out, making an ass of yourself, not being fully aware of your surroundings, doing things today that you’ll regret tomorrow, and inevitably having a hang over that will make you sick into next week, only to do it all over again? Can somebody help me?
